DONATIONS THERMOMETER

Thank you all for your generous donations so far!

The itemized list of altar items is doing very well there is only a hand blessing cross available with all other items already donated. 4 Music Cabinets are still avaiable. Just a few more donations are needed for the Hospitality and Beautification Funds, which are lagging behind. You can donate one or more hospitality icons for the Hospitality Fund and one or many bricks for the Beautification Fund. You can see the beautiful new stairs in front of the altar already completed.

Together, let’s make this happen for the glory of God!

Godparents Program to be launched on November 6

Through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism, it is our Godparent who affirms our pledge to Christ, witnesses to our putting on of Christ, and walks with us as we adhere to the teachings and sacramental life in the Holy Spirit, guiding us on our journey toward salvation.

Through Holy Tradition, each person of the community is also invited to become a Godparent and guardian of the Church by pledging to its Consecration. We are called to reaffirm our commitment, to consecrate our own hearts and pledge our gifts to Christ. We are called to be sanctified as the Temple of the Holy Spirit, as His Church Temple is Consecrated and made holy unto God.

We invite each and every one of our faithful to be a Godparent of St. John’s by consecrating ourselves and one another and our whole life unto Christ our God, through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. We have created an important pledge and sponsorship program for your consideration as we prepare the consecration of our very lives. Your contributions will enable us to host all the Consecration events and beautify God’s Holy Temple, the Church, to make it ready for it’s Consecration. Together, we will walk towards Holy Consecration, following the Saints, and His Eminence around a perimeter that will forever receive God’s holy love and sanctification.
