We will adding 28 Stasidia along the walls of the Church. You have the opportunity to sponsor one or many stasidia. Your donation does not guarantee a certain place in the church, as in the Orthodox Church we do not have reserved seating.

During Orthodox Church the worshipers tend to stay up standing most of the time. However, due to the length of the services, people need to be facilitated in attending the liturgies and therefore a series of chairs of special type called stasidia or stalls, are placed in the church, along the walls an din the apses.

The design of this ecclesiastical furniture is unique and appears only in Orthodox Church. Stasidia are made of wood and constructed in such a way, that the people are supported by the backrest and arms of the furniture, allowing the to stand supported or to sit, during the various parts of the services.
